AMBOY — Thomas R. Leach Jr., 51, of Amboy, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2020.

He was born Sept. 29, 1969 in Alexandria Va., the son of Thomas and Lynn (Hensley) Leach. Thomas was self-employed and worked as a carpenter for many years. He married Shivaun Straub on Dec. 31, 2018 in Dixon.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Shivaun of Amboy; children, Jacob Leach, Hensley Leach, Garity Leach, and Emmett Leach; grandson, Benson Leach; and step children, Christopher, Straub, Aidan Straub, and Madison Straub. Thomas is also survived by his siblings, Susan (Dave) White, Amy (Steve) Montagnani, Jonathan (Gina) Leach, Justin (Ashley) Leach and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites have been accorded and arrangements made by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
