AMBOY – Joan A. Etheridge, 87, of Amboy, died Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of cremains will be at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. Condolences can be made to www.thejonesfh.com. 

Etheridge was born July 31, 1937 in Amboy, the daughter of Lyle and Florine (Wheaton) Etheridge. She was a physical therapist at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky of 32 years prior to retirement.  She was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam War.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Helen and Hazel and brothers Dale Etheridge, Ted Etheridge and Lyle "Kermit" Etheridge Jr.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and her good friend Rose Davis of Amboy.
