DIXON — Robert “Bob” K. Boehme, 67, of Dixon, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at his home.  He was a salesman.

A memorial gathering will be held 4 - 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon.

Bob was born June 26, 1949, in Dixon, the son of Richard and Betty (Hughes) Boehme. He married Kathy Canfield on July 31, 1971, in Oregon. He enjoyed photography, fishing, flowers, woodworking, Southern Gospel Quartet, and especially loved dogs.

He is survived his wife, Kathy Boehme, of Dixon; his mother, Betty Boehme, of Dixon; three brothers, David (Linda) Boehme, of Dixon, Don (Pam) Boehme, of Rock Falls, Brian (Cheryl) Boehme, of Clayton, N.C.; two sisters, Nelda Deininger, of Joliet, and Cheryl (Ron) Zinke, of Dixon; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Richard Boehme; brother-in-law, Jack Deininger and dear friend, Rich Boyer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon.

Arrangements are being completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Ltd., Dixon.
