AMBOY — Charles T. "Charlie" Thompson, 15, of Amboy, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at the University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital in Madison, Wis. 

He was born Oct. 12, 2005, in Dixon the son of Brad and Jennifer (Wilson)

Thompson.

Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer; his brother, Samuel; and maternal grandfather, Jeffrey Wilson.

He is survived by his father, Brad; two sisters, Grace Thompson and Mary Thompson, both of Amboy; paternal grandparents, Terry and Nancy Thompson, of Ottawa and maternal grandmother Linda Wilson, of Oswego. 

He is also survived by his caregiver for the last 14 years Linda Kagay.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at AuSable Grove Cemetery in Yorkville.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Ronald McDonald House in Madison, Wis.
