AMBOY —The curtains that frame the music and theatre department productions at Amboy High School have been in place since the early 2000s. Stitched and pinned, the tattered curtains have reached the end of their usefulness. During intermission of Amboy High School’s production of “Disney’s Moana Jr.”, cast members will kick off the “Hurtin’ for Curtains” campaign with a Dash for Cash.

Amboy High School Music Boosters are Hurtin’ for Curtains

AMBOY —The curtains that frame the music and theatre department productions at Amboy High School have been in place since the early 2000s. Stitched and pinned, the tattered curtains have reached the end of their usefulness. During intermission of Amboy High School’s production of “Disney’s Moana Jr.”, cast members will kick off the “Hurtin’ for Curtains” campaign with a Dash for Cash.  

Cast members will race through the audience for just a minute collecting donations towards the fund for new curtains. The cast member who collects the most will receive a prize.   

Amboy School High School presents “Disney’s Moana, Jr.” March 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. and March 13, at 2 p.m. at the Amboy High School Auditorium.   

Tickets are available to purchase on March 5 at Revolution Wellness or at the door prior to each performance. All tickets are $5.   

Disney’s Moana JR. is presented through special arrangement with and all materials are provided by Music Theatre International.  

The black downstage curtains serve as a back drop to plays, musicals, theatre productions and community events.
