FRANKLIN GROVE — Sylvia Kay Bartlett, 80, of Franklin Grove, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at Franklin Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She worked as a clerk at Ives Drug Store in Franklin Grove for many years.
Visitation will be from 9 - 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon, followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home, with Pastor Jack Briggs, officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Bartlett was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Dixon, the daughter of Clarence and Bernice (Ollmann) Hillison. She married Gordon Bartlett on Feb. 12, 1955, in Amboy. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2001. Sylvia was a member of the Franklin Grove United Methodist Church.
Sylvia is survived by one son, Rick Bartlett, of Franklin Grove; one daughter, Vickie (Patrick) Nally, of Ashton; one brother, Ronald Hillison, of Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Bill Machen, of Amboy; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Bartlett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cindy Marie Dickey; and one sister, Mary Machen.
A memorial has been established.
