DIXON — Sharon Lee Kemp, 77, of Dixon, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon. She was a shipping manager for Dixon Direct for 34 years prior to her retirement.

Celebration of Life will be from 3 – 6 p.m., on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the American Legion Post 12 in Dixon. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Sharon was born Nov. 15, 1939, in Dixon, the daughter of Donald and Frances (Hollingsworth) Culver. 

Survivors include one son, Ronald Kemp; one daughter, Janette (David) Kutz; her mother, Marcella “Sally” Culver, all of Dixon; one brother, Donald (Wakenna) Culver, of Edgewood, Ky.; one sister, Rose Davis, of Amboy; one brother-in-law, Wilbur “Wink” Kemp, of Dixon; five grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Kutz, John (Amy) Kutz, Roxanne Richard, Cody Kemp, Elliott Kemp; five great-grandchildren, Gwenlyn, Cami, Kempton, Sunny, Kalob; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Barbara Helfrich.

A memorial has been established.
