BLUE SPRINGS, MO. — Robin Elizabeth Hochgrebe, 48, a resident of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully, Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born June 22, 1973 to Ronald and Joy (Kerchner) Doyle in Dixon.

BLUE SPRINGS, MO. — Robin Elizabeth Hochgrebe, 48, a resident of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully, Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born June 22, 1973 to Ronald and Joy (Kerchner) Doyle in Dixon.
Robin graduated from Amboy High School in 1992. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
Robin was united in marriage to Ryan William Hochgrebe on May 25, 2013 in Columbia, Mo. She was a member of Timothy Lutheran Church in Blue Springs, Mo. Robin took pride in being able to home school their daughter, Heidi. She enjoyed being around people, volunteering, writing, reading and loved spending time with Jesus in prayer and scripture. Above all, Robin cherished being a mother.
Robin is survived by her loving husband, Ryan Hochgrebe, of Blue Springs, Mo.; daughters, Carmen Dieken, of Columbia, Mo., and Heidi Hochgrebe, of Blue Springs, Mo.; her mother and adoptive father, Joy and Gordon Meyer, of Dixon; brothers, Rex Meyer and wife Lori, of Harmon, Don Meyer and wife Paula of Amboy, and Alan Meyer and wife Sarah of North Oaks, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Robin was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Doyle, her grandparents and one nephew and two nieces.
The family will receive friends and family from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at Timothy Lutheran Church, 425 NW R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, Mo. The Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. There will also be a Memorial Service held at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Dixon, 2035 IL Route 26, for family and friends who were not able to make the trip to Missour. The Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022. Interment will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Embrace Grace Inc./Donate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs, Mo.
