The Amboy girls basketball team moved to 9-4 with a 51-40 non-conference win against Bureau Valley on Thursday, Dec. 21.
In the win, junior Addison Pertell scored 22 points, senior Maeve Larson recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and both senior Elly Jones and junior Tyrah Vaessen pitched in six points.
Vaesseen did a little bit of everything as she had 10 rebounds and five assists to go with her six points. Jones tallied five steals and four assists, while junior Emily Sachs had five rebounds.
