AJHS Scholastic Bowl wins regional, among leaders at sectional
The Amboy Junior High scholastic bowl team comprised of seventh and eighth graders took first place at the IHSA Regional Tournament on April 24.
At the IHSA Sectional Tournament on April 29, Amboy finished in a three-way tie for the second most points. The scholastic bowl team featured, front row, left to right, Blake Mumm, Charlie Schoenholz, and Abel Mumm, back row, left to right, coach Yvonne Hicks, Parker Zimmerly, Jason Hemmen, Tyler Mahar, Owen Dallam, and AJHS Principal Andrew Full.
