AMBOY – Amboy High School varsity girls’ basketball head coach Mike McCracken has been named the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year for District 11 for the 2021 season.
Amboy finished the season with a 14-1 overall record and a 9-1 conference mark, tying for first place in the NUIC South Division. The Lady Clippers were rated number one in the state in the AP Class 1A poll for much of the season and finished third in the Max Preps poll.
