AMBOY — Lynn L. Peterson, 72, of Amboy, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019 at University Hospital in Madison, Wis.
She was born June 7, 1947 the daughter of James and Anita (Pohley) Hendron.
Lynn had worked at Walmart in Peru for over 20 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Sublette, the St. Ann Sodality, the Mendota Elks Lodge and sewed dresses with the Little Dresses for Africa group at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maytown.
Lynn married Duane H. Peterson on June 15, 1968 at St John Catholic Church
in Winfield. He preceded her in death Dec. 15, 2016.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert James Hendron.
Lynn is survived by her daughter, Denise (Marty) Bickett, of Sublette, grandchildren, Bailey and Jacob Bickett and her special friend, Mark Lauer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Sublette with Rev. Randy Fronek officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Sublette. Visitation will be held from 9 - 10:45 a.m., on Saturday at the church.
