KEWANEE – The Amboy Lady Clippers will participate in the Kewanee (Wethersfield) Class 1A Girls’ Regional Basketball Tournament to be played Feb. 5, 6, 8.
The tournament will begin on Monday, Feb. 5 with LaMoille-Ohio taking on DePue. The winner of that game will advance to the second round to play Kewanee (Wethersfield) at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6. Amboy and Ashton-Franklin Center will play the other game on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
The winners of the Tuesday games will move on to battle for the regional title at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.
The winner of the Kewanee (Wethersfield) Regional will earn a berth in the Hinckley-Big Rock Sectional to meet the regional champion from the Aurora (Christian) Regional on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. The other teams in the sectional will come from the Ottawa (Marquette) and Chicago (Morgan Park Academy) regionals.

Tuesday, Feb. 6
2 – (2) Kewanee (Wethersfield) vs. Winner Game 1 – 6 p.m.
3 – (4) Ashton (A.-Franklin Center) vs. (5) Amboy – 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 8
4 – Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3 – 7 p.m.
