AMBOY — James L. "Jim" Heath, 59, of Amboy died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.
He was born Jan. 19, 1960, in Amboy the son of Marvin T. and Dorothy E. (Smith) Heath. Jim had worked at Carney Demolition in Amboy and H.D. Campbell Co. in Rochelle.
He enjoyed tinkering, collecting and outdoor activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Marvin Thomas Heath Jr, Robert Lee Heath and sister, Bonnie Elizabeth Heath.
Jim is survived by his children, Jeremy Arbuckle, of Florida, Samuel Stephano, of Sugar Grove, Jessica Heath, of Wisconsin, Jason Heath and James (Jessica Eads) Heath, both of Amboy and Kayla (Dane VanOosten) Heath, of Grand Detour; grandchildren, Danielle, Mackenzie, Gabrielle, Austin, Madisyn, Mason, Chloe, Caiden, Cooper, Gage, and Briar.
He is also survived by his brother, William (Chris) Heath of Phoenix, Ariz., and his girlfriend Justine Albee, of Amboy.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday Nov. 30, 2019, at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with Pastor John Kalebaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., on Saturday, in the funeral home.
