SUBLETTE - Helen E. Clark, 93, of Sublette, passed away Feb. 2, 2022 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Chaplain Kent Terry officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10 at the funeral home and for one hour prior to services on Friday.

Helen was born Dec. 8, 1928 in Atkinson to Fredrick and Maude (Boothe) Clark. She married Archie Clark on Dec. 15, 1946 in Ohio, Ill. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1999.

Survivors include one son, John (Cherry) Clark of Nashville, Ind.; three daughters, Connie Hobbs of Amboy, Shirley (David) Maki of Lancaster, N.Y. and Debra (Ken) Mann of Mendota; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Robert Clark; one sister, Katherine Anderson; one grandson, Nicholas Clark; and a son-in-law, Douglas Hobbs.

Helen graduated from Ohio High School. She worked and retired from Farmers State Bank in Sublette. She was a lifetime member of Green River Saddle Club and a member of Sublette Union Church and Sublette Fire Department Fire Bells.
