AMBOY — David Anthony "Tony" Lahman, 57, of Amboy, died Monday July 31, 2017, at KSB Hospital in Dixon. He was born in Amarillo, Texas, April 28, 1960, the son of Paul and Carolyn (McNicol) Lahman.

David Anthony “Tony” Lahman

AMBOY — David Anthony "Tony" Lahman, 57, of Amboy, died Monday July 31, 2017, at KSB Hospital in Dixon. He was born in Amarillo, Texas, April 28, 1960, the son of Paul and Carolyn (McNicol) Lahman.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at the Lee Center Congregational United Church of Christ. Burial of cremains will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center. Visitation will be held from 1 until 3 p.m., Thursday in the church. A memorial has been established. 

He worked in Rockford as a Tool and Die maker. He also drove the tour bus for the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in Rockford.

Tony coached Little League Baseball and flag football, where he was known to his players as "Bear."

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include his parents, of Amboy; three sisters, Deanna Lahman, of Dixon, Rena Svendsen, of Rochelle, and Lori (Terry) Kaser, of Clovis, N.M.; five nieces and nephews, Chad Shaw, Corie Walls, Jeff Svendsen, Joel Svendsen, and Jessica Kaser; six great nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
