FRANKLIN GROVE — Carol Louise Kelley, 72, of Franklin Grove, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at her home. She worked in the home healthcare field for Tri-County Opportunity Council retiring in 2005.
Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Oregon and 10-11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at the church, with Pastor Jared Cochran, officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Kelley was born Dec. 22, 1944, the daughter of Emory and Audrey (Weems) Johnson. She married Jack M. Kelley July 18, 1964 in Franklin Grove. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2013.
Carol is survived by one son, John (Diana) Kelley, of Midland, Mich.; one daughter, Gayle (Kevin) Hendricks, of Keota, Iowa; one brother, Richard (Carol) Johnson, of Burlington, Wis.; two sisters Patricia Page, of Brighton, Mich., Lois (Larry) Bearman, of Dixon; and four grandchildren, Allison, Audrey, Ashley and Adeline Kelley.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Jean Johnson.
A memorial has been established to First Baptist Church, Oregon.
Arrangements are being completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Ltd., Dixon.
