DIXON — Bruce A. Thomson, 63, of Dixon, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at Rock Falls Rehabilitation Center. He was a case worker and volunteered for Special Olympics for Kreider Services in Dixon, for over 20 years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or service.  

Mr. Thomson was born March 2, 1953, in Sterling, the son of Lucius and Frances (Crawford) Thomson. He married Wanda Kistner on Feb. 8, 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife Wanda, of Dixon; and two sons, Robert Thomson and Michael Thomson, both of Dixon.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are being completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Ltd., Dixon.
