ROCKFORD — Bobby Dale Wilson, 89, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
He was born on June 30, 1930 in Lee Center, to Richard M. and Elsie (Shuld) Wilson.
Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War and earning four Bronze Battle Stars. He married Mary F. Fahs on Sept. 20, 1958 and spent 60 years together.
Survivors include his sons, Robert and Richard (Denise) Wilson, of Oregon, Wis.; grandchildren, Samantha and Anthony Wilson; sister, Jane Lovgren, of Amboy; brothers, Kenneth Wilson, of Dixon, Jimmy Seloover, of Amboy, and Gene (Jeannie) Seloover, of Earlville, Iowa; and sister-in-law, Alice Fahs, of Amboy.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Wilson; parents, Richard and Elsie Wilson; step-father, James Seloover; brothers, Grant Wilson, Lester Wilson Sr., Richard Wilson Jr. and Jerry Seloover; and brother-in-law, Tom Fahs.
Private family graveside service will be held.
