AMBOY – The Amboy volleyball team lost to Polo and Pearl City during the sixth week of the IHSA season.
The Lady Clippers traveled to Polo for a Northwest Upstate Illini Conference South Division matchup on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Amboy fell 25-6, 25-13.
The junior varsity team was victorious against Polo 25-22, 27-25. Polo doesn’t have a freshman team for a freshman match.
Amboy was on the road again, Wednesday, Oct. 2 as it played NUIC crossover foe Pearl City.
The Lady Clippers fell 25-23, 25-21, while the junior varsity team fell 26-24, 24-26, 25-22, and the freshman lost 25-23, 25-20.
