OREGON – The Amboy-Ashton-Franklin Center boys golf team didn’t shoot as low as it would have liked to Thursday, Sept. 19 at Silver Ridge Golf Course in a Northwest Upstate Illini Conference matchup against Polo.
However, the Clipper’s 206 got the job done to best the Marcos’ 219.
Senior Carson Barlow led Amboy with a 49, sophomore Jason Dickinson carded a 51, AFC senior Logan O’Brien had a 52, and sophomore Michael Ackert finished with a 54.
