Tom and Vicki (McLindsay) Kessel are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Sara Ellen Kessel, to Rafael Angelucci, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Angelucci of Chicago.

Sara is the granddaughter of the late Mary Ellen and Richard McLindsay and the late Hazel Kessel, all of Amboy. Dr. Kessel graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. In addition to her DVM degree, she also underwent further training to receive her USDA-APHIS certification. She shares ownership of a veterinarian hospital in Chicago.

Mr. Angelucci is a senior software engineer. He enjoys his many pets, plays guitar and spends his leisure time on the golf course.

The couple is planning a September wedding in Chicago. We are excited to celebrate this special milestone with them.
