AMBOY – The Amboy Lady Clippers met up with old Three Rivers Conference foe Prophetstown on Dec. 11 and the Lady Prophets pulled out a 43-42 victory at the AHS gym.
After trailing most of the game, the Lady Clippers (4-7) finally forged in front in the fourth period before Prophetstown rallied to post the win.
Kelsey Stewart led the fourth-quarter surge for the Lady Clippers with nine of her 20 points. She made six of 12 field goal attempts and six of eight free throws. Stewart also had two assists. Noelle Jones was next in scoring with 10 points, while Breanna Fisher had six points and five rebounds.
