AMBOY – The Amboy Lady Clippers’ Awards Night was held March 21 at the Long Branch for the 2017-18 basketball season.

The following players were recognized for their participation this season:

Seniors – Kallie Appleman, Logan Winters, Taylor Stevens

Juniors – Noelle Jones, Kelsey Stewart, Rachel Lachat, Breanna Fisher, Hope Sachs, Adriana Bartoschek

Sophomores – Ashley Althaus, Kyleigh Donna

Freshmen – Abi Payne, Mallory Powers, Gabby Jones, Madelyn McLaughlin, Brianna Blaine, Eden Lindenmeyer, Tori Daniels, Kenzie Gerdes

The following players were presented with awards:

Four captains – Appleman, Winters, Stevens, Noelle Jones

Amboy Holiday All-Tournament – N. Jones

NUIC Second-Team All-Conference – Payne

Sauk Valley Sports All-Area – Payne, special mention; N. Jones, honorable mention

Best Rebounder – N. Jones

Best Free Throw Percentage – N. Jones

Most Assists – Payne

Best Defense – Appleman

Most Improved – Winters

MVP – N. Jones

Country Companies Teammaker Award – Appleman, Winters, Stevens
