The Amboy News would like to correct a statement that appeared in the 2018 Depot Days special section. It was stated that "Parade announcer Hank Gerdes will be stepping down this year". Hank is NOT retiring as the parade announcer, and is looking forward to many more years of introducing the Amboy Lions Club Parade entries. Join Hank on Saturday at 3 p.m. for the "Chasing Your Dreams" Amboy Lions Club Parade that will start at the Amboy City Park and continue west along Main Street to the Jr. High School.
