AMBOY — Amboy Fire Protection District and Sublette Fire Protection District are joining the trend of fire departments making road side visits for a child’s birthday.
Do you have a child celebrating a birthday during these unprecedented times? Let the fire departments help bring some excitement on their special day.
A fire truck will approach your residence with lights and sirens and park alongside the road to allow your family or child to take a photo in front of it.
The driver will remain inside the truck.
Visits will be Monday-Friday at 6 p.m. or Saturday at 1 p.m.
Child must be 12 or younger
Must reside in Amboy or Sublette’s district
Message the resident’s fire department’s Facebook page to schedule a date/time. They are scheduling these visits through the month of April.
