AMBOY — Gabby Jones, a senior at Amboy High School, has been named the AHS Student of the Month for April. She is the daughter of Willie and Betsy Jones.

Membership/Involvement: “In My four years of high school I have played Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball. I am also involved in the Spanish Honor Society and Leos Club.”
Awards/Honors: “Throughout my high school career I have received these awards, IBCA All-State Special Mentions, Second Team All-Area, First Team All-Conference for basketball, Second Team All-Conference for Volleyball.”
Best Memories: “My best memory of high school is being a part of the basketball team and all the success we have achieved.”
Future Plans: “I plan on attending Sauk Valley Community College and studying Accounting. I also am going to be a part of Sauk’s Volleyball team.”
