COMPTON – Richard L. Johnson, 67, of Compton, has been charged with three counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child (Class X felony) following an investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Monday, March 1.
The three counts are for different alleged incidences with the same victim, who is under the age of 13.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
