SHOREWOOD — Colleen A. Koch, 83, of Shorewood, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the home of her daughter.

She is born on April 17, 1940, in Amboy the daughter of William and Aileen (Brady) Morrissey. Colleen worked for ComEd, Fantasy Flavors, and also cleaned houses, and baby sat children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas Koch; son in law, Dave Borgens; siblings, Robert Morrissey in infancy, John "Tiny"(Corrine) Morrissey, Rev. William "Buddy" Morrissey, Joseph (Josephine) Morrissey, Rosemary (George) Hawks, Elizabeth "Bette" (Louie) Wilhelm, Barb (LeRoy) Goy, brothers in law, Alvin Glenn, Gene Carroll, Lloyd Considine, Jack Scorby; and sisters in law, Linda Morrissey, and Carol Foglesong.

She is also preceded in death by her niece and nephews Brian Goy, Tim Considine, Jay Hawks, and Stephanie Mastrogiovanni.

Colleen is survived by her children, Mary Borgens, of Shorewood, Keith (Tonya) Koch, of Lee Center, Monica (Dave) Ruckman, Mesa, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Tyler (Anissa) Borgens, Connor Borgens, William (Sammie) Koch, Megan Koch, Danielle (Danny) Medina, Mackenzie Ruckman, Cole Ruckman; great-grandchildren, Grace, Zailey, Addalynn,  Liam, Millie, Brooklynn, Chase; and siblings, Rita Glenn, Lois Considine, Frances Carroll, Monica Scorby, and Larry Morrissey.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m., on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy.

A memorial has been established to Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
