AMBOY — Amboy FFA Alumni recently awarded their post-secondary scholarship to Ashley Althaus, graduate of Amboy High School and an alumni member of the Amboy FFA Chapter.
Althaus is finishing her freshman year at Iowa State University studying agricultural systems technology with a minor in agronomy.
“The future of agriculture depends on how we can manage complex technological systems,” said Althaus.
After college, she would like to work for an agriculture company investing in precision agriculture, incorporating technology on the farm to gain the most from the farm’s resources and increase profitability for the farmer.
