AMBOY — The festivities of the 2020 Amboy Hometown Virtual Christmas Walk are underway.

Starting Nov. 27, you’ll be able to participate in the Christmas Walk giveaways totaling over $2,500.

The drawing boxes have been delivered to Amboy Pharmacy, Amboy City Hall, Amboy Shell, and Amboy Food & Liquor. Look for the RED boxes. Over the next three weeks you can patronize these four businesses and drop your name in the box for a chance at one of our giveaways. The winners will be drawn on Dec. 4, 11 and 18. You may also enter the drawings by email at amboychristmaswalk@yahoo.com. Gift baskets will be on display at City Hall.

An entry form can be found on page 2 on the Shop Amboy This Christmas page.

The Dec. 4 giveaway includes eight winners winning a Ham or Turkey sponsored by the City of Amboy. First come, first choice.

On Dec. 11 and 18, the winning gift baskets will include items and gift certificates from local businesses, purchased and donated by the Amboy Hometown Christmas Walk and local businesses.

Keep an eye on the Amboy Christmas Walk Facebook page each Friday for a special appearance from the man in red himself, Santa. Be on the lookout for special popup giveaways happening on Facebook over the next few weeks, as they have got lots in store.
