AMBOY — Depot Days 50/50 tickets went on sale July 1.
This year the Depot Days 50/50 has changed things up a little as far as prize money. This year, there will be a total of five different winners.
The first place, big money winner will always receive half of the amount generated from the of tickets sold. Last year’s top winner took home $110,885.
Then, to keep things interesting this year, four more lucky winners will be drawn. Those four winners will each take home $5,000.
The drawing will take place on Aug. 26, in downtown Amboy.
Ticket sales locations are:
In Amboy, Mort's Tap, Depot Tap, The Long Branch Saloon, The Last Alarm, Jones Berry Lumber, Two Sisters on Main, Green River Oaks campground and Mendota Hills Campground, Dinges Fire Company, and new this year, tickets will be on sale at Shell Express Lane. Shell Express Lane has extended hours and will be a great place to buy your tickets and grab a cold drink.
Another change this year is Napa Amboy will not be selling tickets and the ticket tumbler will be located at Amboy Food and Liquor.
In Dixon, tickets will be available at The Shamrock Pub.
In Sublette, tickets will be available at Country Village Meats, Vaessen Brothers Chevrolet, Bonnell’s General Store and at The Sublette Saloon, located just outside the main gate at Woodhaven.
New this year, tickets will be on sale at Harry's Pub in Ohio.
Tickets will also be on sale in Ashton at Ashton Auto Repair.
The proceeds from the annual Depot Days 50/50 raffle will go to local charitable organizations.
