AMBOY — Timothy R. Ross, 64, of Amboy, died Friday, April 23, 2021 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Nov. 7, 1956, in Amboy, the son of Roy and Irene (Bloomquist) Ross. Tim had worked at Raynor Garage Doors in Dixon and was a member of Carpenters Local 790 for 42 years prior to his retirement.
Tim was a proud and devoted member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 16 years and gained the respect of his family, friends, and community by his accomplishment and perseverance to succeed
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Tim is survived by one brother, James (Patricia) Ross, of St Charles; three nephews, Scott, Brad and Geoff Ross; and several cousins.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with the Rev. John Gow officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at St Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Amboy.
