THONOTOSASSA, Fla. — Stephen D. Spratt, age 54, of Thonotosassa, Fla., died Saturday, July 15, 2017, in his home. He was born Jan. 22, 1963, in Dixon, the son of William and Adrienne (Slick) Spratt.

A Celebration of Stephen's Life will be held at noon, on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the Spratt residence, 1276 Red Brick Rd, Dixon. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., on Friday, July 21, at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.

He was a Flight Instructor.

He had also worked as a Bus Driver for the Louisville, KY School District, and was an Aerial Photographer in Huntsville, Ala.

His passion was flying.

He graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science Degree.

He married Jodi (Petiach) on April 26, 2014 at Dinosaur World in Plant City, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Elijah Spratt and Isaac Spratt, both of Jeffersonville, Ind.; his father, Bill (Pat) Spratt, of Dixon;  his mother, Adrienne Slick, of New Albany, Ind.; two brothers, Greg (Laura Thomsen) Spratt and Kevin (Brenda) Spratt, both of Dixon; step-siblings Eileen (Jim) Webb, of Cortez, Colo., Diane (Mike) Pavesich, of Dixon, Mike (Jenny) Shannon, of Cibolo, Texas and Edie Webb, of Moline; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
