Dick had been at the Rockford Supportive Living Center, Rockford, where he had lived since suffering a fall earlier this year.
Dick was born on Sept. 27, 1939 in the Amboy Public Hospital, the son of Marjorie (Clayton) and Floyd W. Noble Sr.
After graduating from Amboy High School, Dick joined the Army and served in the Special Military Police Corp primarily in Seoul, Korea, from 1957 to 1960. Dick was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver until his retirement.
He is survived by a son, Richard Allen “Ritchie”(Jennifer) Noble Jr., of Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandchildren, Maleigh Suzanne, Kennedy Suzanne, and Caston John Noble, all of Sioux Falls; and sister, DeLores Doden, of Mendota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Keith, Don, James “Jay”, Floyd, and sister, Dorothy Jeanblanc.
A memorial service, with burial in the Prairie Repose Cemetery, will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
