AMBOY — Patricia Hyland Weller, 90, of Amboy died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 at the Rock River Hospice Home in Sterling.
She was born Jan. 17, 1929 in Greensburg, Kansas, the daughter of Earl and Verna (Murphy) Hyland.
Pat had worked at Dansk International and Marshall Fields prior to retirement.
She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy and DAR.
Pat married Cliff Weller on June 17, 1950 in Riverdale, Md. He proceeded her in death June 10, 2003.
Pat is survived by her children, Samuel (Rev. Kathleen) Weller, of
Sarasota, Fla., and Brooke (Dennis) Weidman, of Amboy; grandchildren, Erica (Justin) Saathoff, of Sterling and Aaron (Megan) Weidman, Normal; and great-grandchildren Jack, Nolan, and Macy Saathoff.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday Nov. 19, 2019, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy. Private burial of cremains will be at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m., on Monday, at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home and from 10 - 11 a.m., on Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Buddy Bags of Amboy.
