SUBLETTE – Lynda K. Blaine, 69, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at Mac Neal Memorial Hospital in Berwyn.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1951 in Princeton, the daughter of Gail and Blanche (Johnson) Watkins. She married James Blaine on Aug. 30, 1975 in Dixon and later divorced.
Lynda worked as a Teachers Aid in the Amboy School District for over 20 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Jessica (Christian) Haydel, of Davenport, Iowa; her son, Joshua Blaine, of Rock Island; her sister, Jeanna (Robert) Ohda, of Walnut; and her brothers, William (Roberta) Watkins, of Walnut and David Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Watkins.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maytown, with the Reverend Randy Fronek officiating. Burial will conclude at Walnut Cemetery.
