AMBOY — Harold A. "Half Pint" Ullrich, 55, of Amboy, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sept. 28, 1962, in Sterling, the son of Arlyn and Loretta (Royer) Ullrich, Jr.
He worked at Steve's garage for 15 years, and had also worked for Allied Locke Industries in Amboy for 20 years, and also Noble Concrete. He was also a shadetree mechanic.
He enjoyed playing darts, bags, and music, and was a diehard Packers fan. He enjoyed cookouts and spending time with family and friends.
Harold married Peggy Kettley at their home in Amboy on May 28, 1994.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Randy and Dennis Ullrich.
Survivors include his wife; children, James Lee (Cassie) Ullrich, of Amboy, Jamie Jo (Shannon) Ullrich, of Deer Grove, Justin Albert Ullrich, Travis Harold Ullrich, and Trever Thomas (Kaily) Ullrich, all of Amboy; 11 grandchildren, Madison, Chase, Alyssa, Tucker, Kylee, Natalie, Jaxson, Karson, Emery, Traeden, and Waylon; four brothers, Don Ullrich, of Ft Madison, Iowa, John Ullrich, of Mt Pleasant, Iowa, Allen "Barney" (Nancy) Ullrich, of Amboy, and Craig Ullrich, of Franklin Grove; four sisters, Marjorie Hasty, of Flanagan, Etta (Wayne Smith) Ullrich, of Amboy, Deb (John) Eckhardt, of Dixon, and Angie (Bernie) Risley, of Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 19, 2018, in the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with the Rev. John Eckhardt, officiating. Cremation rites will follow with burial of cremains at a later date in Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., on Saturday, in the funeral home.
