DIXON — Corinne D. Powers, 57, of Dixon, died on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 8, 1963 in Dixon, the daughter of Thomas and Sue Ann (Blake) McCormick. Corinne worked as an EMT with the Amboy Fire Department for 10 years, Woodhaven Lakes, and the Lee County States Attorney's Office. She volunteered her time for the Amboy ESDA and was also the Co-Director of the Miss Amboy Pageant for many years.

On March 25, 1995, Corinne married Steven Powers in Ashton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Casey McCormick, and one great-granddaughter.

Corinne is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Christopher (Monica) Carter, of Sterling, Felicia Carter, of Dixon, Aaron (Mellisa) Powers, of North Liberty Iowa, and Carrie Powers, of Ashton; 12 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas "Shawn" (Gayla) McCormick, of Rock Falls, and Kelly McCormick, of Woodstock.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home with burial to follow at St Patrick Cemetery in Amboy.

A memorial has been established in Corinne's memory.
