AMBOY – Anna Marie Hamlink, 91, of Amboy, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maytown with the Rev. Randy Fronek, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Maytown. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, from 4-7 p.m. at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
She was born Nov. 17, 1925, in Amboy, the daughter of Ben and Anna (McBride) Aubert. Anna married Harvey E. Hamlink on July 19, 1944, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maytown. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2008.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Lashley of Des Moines, Iowa; three sons, Jeff Hamlink, Tim Hamlink, and Bob (Sue) Hamlink, all of Amboy; six grandchildren, Tom (Susan) Hamlink, David Lashley, Betsey Lashley, Melissa (Brian) Fields, Samantha (Chris) Senn, and Mackinzie Hamlink; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Joel Hamlink and Harvey Hamlink Jr.; two brothers and two sisters.
She worked at the Lee County Nursing Home in Dixon for over 25 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Walton.
A memorial has been established.
