DIXON — Anna H. Larson, 91, formerly of Harmon and Dixon, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the home of her daughter in North Syracuse, N.Y. 

Funeral services will begin with a 10 a.m. prayer service be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the Jones Funeral Home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St Patrick Catholic Church in Dixon with the Rev. Bernard Sehr officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., on Wednesday, at the funeral home with rosary at 7 p.m. A memorial has been established.

She was born Sept. 22, 1925, in Maytown, the daughter of Fred and Susie (Sharkey) Chandler. She had worked at the Green River Ordinance Plant during World War II and at the Lee County Nursing Home for 20 years prior to her retirement.

She was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church in Dixon where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She was also a member of NAIM and AFSCME.

Anna enjoyed gardening, garage sales, auctions, and spending time with family.

Anna married Gail A. Larson on Oct. 19, 1946, in Maytown. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Edward; two great- grandsons, James and Justin Larson; her brother, Leo Chandler; and son-in-law, William Logue.

She is survived by one son, Thomas (Lorri) Larson, of Monroe, Wis.; one daughter, Nancy Logue, of North Syracuse, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren: Mike (Kim) Larson, of Eldena, Mark Larson, of Amboy, Joe (Annette) Larson, of Sublette, Shane (Kari) Larson, Shannon (Wes) Langloss and Cody (Krystle) Larson, all of Amboy, Billy (Alison) Logue, of Virginia Beach, Va.,  Andrew (Melissa) Logue, of Portsmouth, Va., Wendy (Dennis) Rein, of Gloversville, N.Y., Steven (Evangeline) Logue, of Deposit, N.Y., Ben (Rebecca) Logue, Oklahoma City, Okla.,  Jonathan (Ronda) Logue, of North Syracuse, N.Y., Abigail (Andrew) Albert, of Bethany, Okla., Mitchell (Lori) Logue, of Spencer, Okla., and Allison Logue, of North Syracuse, N.Y.;  36 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Sally) Chandler, of Mendota, and one sister, Donna Novak, of LaSalle.
