PECATONICA – The Amboy Lady Clippers lost their third game of the season by a single point after Pecatonica came out on top, 37-36, on Jan. 3 at Pecatonica.

Amboy had three good looks at the basket in the final minute of play, but could not connect on any of them.

The Lady Clippers had a hard time finding the basket the entire game as they converted just 25 percent (13 of 53) of their shots.

Noelle Jones led the Amboy attack with 14 points and eight rebounds. Abi Payne was next with 12 points and two assists, while Kallie Appleman chipped in with six points and six rebounds.

Amboy’s game with Polo scheduled for Jan. 5 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 17 at the AHS gym.
