Illinois State Representative Bradley Fritts, kneeling, joined a Central School classroom on Thursday, Dec. 7 in part of Ag in the Classroom with Lee County Farm Bureau and Katie Pratt.
Fritts talked with the students as they learned about poinsettias and colored their own paper poinsettia. Fritts also visited Amboy Junior High and Amboy High School during his Ag in the Classroom experience.
“I love it. This is our next generation of Illinoisians. This is our n ext generation of voters,” Rep. Fritts said. “It’s our next generation of people who are going to be educators, politicians, farmers, etc. It is cool to be part of that as a Representative to let our educators know we support them and to let the kids know that even though they’re not voting age, they have people who care about them. Some of the things the kids say really make you smile sometimes.”
