LEE COUNTY — The Lee County Health Department announces 386 new positive cases between Jan 25-31, 2022 and is saddened to report the deaths of two males, one is his his 80’s and one in his 70’s. 

Here are the ages that were reported: 33 12 and under, 47 in his or her teens, 60 in his or her 20s, 77 in his or her 30s, 72 in his or her 40s, 51 in his or her 50s, 32 in his or her 60s, 10 in his or her 70s, 2 on his or her 80s, and 1 in his or her 90s. A total of 13 residents are hospitalized. The county also reported that the number of cases in unvaccinated individuals is 267 of the 386 cases.

Vaccine

As of Feb. 7, according to IDPH 48,471 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Lee County, and a total of 19,442 people in Lee County are fully vaccinated, which is 56.81 percent of the population. A total of 21,061 have received at least one dose of the vaccine. A total of 10,162 people have received the vaccine booster shot.
