OTTAWA – The Amboy Lady Clippers have been assigned to the IHSA Class 1A Ottawa Marquette Regional Girls’ Basketball Tournament to be played Feb 10, 12, 16.
Amboy earned the third seed in Sub-Sectional B.
The tournament will open with a play-in game when Gardner-South Wilmington visits Marquette on Saturday, Feb. 10.
The winner of that game will take on second-seeded Peru St. Bede on Monday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. in the semifinal-round. In the nightcap on Feb. 12, the Lady Clippers will battle Putnam County at 7:30 p.m.
The two winners of the semifinal games will square off for the regional championship at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16.
The winner of the Marquette Regional will advance to the Gardner-South Wilmington Sectional to face the champion of the Crete (Illinois Lutheran) Regional at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20. The other sectional qualifiers will come from the Earlville and Elgin (Harvest Christian Academy) regionals. The sectional championship game will be played on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 16
4 – Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3 – 7 p.m.
