Food trucks roll back into Amboy

Posted

AMBOY – Last fall, Amboy resident Kirstyn Carter wanted to try some different food. Instead of going elsewhere and enjoying by herself, she invited numerous food trucks to come to Amboy.

The food truck event is back this year with more scheduled dates, including the first on 2024, which is from 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 29 at the Amboy Depot parking lot.

The participating food trucks are Tacos Guzman, Philly Factory, Custards Last Stand, JYD’s, Flo’s on Pulaski, Deebo’s, and Sweet Butts Cotton Candy.

There will be more offered as two venders, HoneyBee Apiary and Home Grown in Illinois will have tables set up and Clipper Kiddies Preschool is hosting a bake sale.

HoneyBee Apiary will have a donation jar at its table. All collected funds will go to Clipper Kiddies.
