The Amboy Lion’s Club held its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 at Amboy City Park. Over 1,200 eggs were laid out or hidden in the park for four different age groups (2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-10) as they stormed the grounds to try to get enough eggs to qualify them as a first, second, or third place winner for a prize. The Easter Bunny (Amboy High School senior Addison Shaw) posed for photos and handed candy to kids before hopping home. Approximately 140 kids participated in the Amboy Lion’s Club event.
