The Amboy girls basketball team has been on a roll as it gets ready for IHSA playoffs, which start with regional quarterfinals on February 10.
The Lady Clippers locked in two victories on January 31, 40-12 over Fulton, and February 2, 58-13 against Milledgeville, while suffering a close defeat, 32-27 against AFC on February 3.
Against Fulton, Senior Meave Larson recorded a double-dobule with 13 rebounds and 12 points and junior Addison Pertell scored 11 points, while tallying three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Amboy defeated Milledgeville behind double-digit scoring from Pertell (14), junior Tyrah Vaessen (12), and senior Elly Jones (11).
Larson notched her second double-double in three games with 10 points and 10 rebounds against AFC.
