A committee working to bring a YMCA to Amboy met at the Amboy Community Building on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The group is working on a community survey to find out what services the area residents would like to see if a YMCA came to Amboy. The group is working on presenting the survey in an online form, as well as having it available in written form at future open houses. The committee will host the open houses so community members can ask questions and provide feedback about the possible YMCA. Committee members are planning on attending the upcoming Amboy Chamber Business After Hours on Thursday, Feb. 22 to talk about what services the community would like to see in Amboy.
