Lee Ogle Transportation System open

Lee Ogle Transportation System is partnering with local officials as the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop. As a system we will need your assistance through this period.

LOTS will be open tomorrow. If you call in to make a ride reservation dispatch staff will ask screening questions related to COVID-19. On all LOTS buses and minivans regular sanitizing protocols will be in place. We will also implement “social distancing” on vehicles. We may limit transport to one rider at a time on our buses. Riders will be asked to sit in the furthest seat from the driver. Personal protective equipment such as masks are recommended.

If you feel as though your ride is not essential, feel free to cancel your ride with dispatch. The Centers for Disease Control and Public Health recommend persons limit their travel to only essential locations and appointments. They additionally recommend persons...

- Avoid close contact with persons who are sick

- Cover coughs or sneezes with a tissue

- Avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth

- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

- Stay home when sick

- Wash hands often with soap & water for at least 20 seconds

Soap and water are preferred, however, if not available a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content is another alternative for sanitizing.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance through this trying time and helping us with efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. Additional updates will be provided as warranted.
